New Balance

Los Angeles-based New Balance is the songwriting project of Jeremy Leasure with accompaniment by Jacob Maag and Emily Monnig. Filled with orchestral arrangements and lush harmonies, New Balances flirts with elements of outsider folk, Nashville country, and 70’s indebted singer-songwriters. All while finding ways to create lyric-forward music that sounds distinctly like no one else. Starting in 2017 with the release of their debut EP Thoughts of Future Hindsight, they have since released the full-length album The Moon Is Down, the split 7” record Shadow Like A Sundial with Jake Tittle, and their newest full-length record More Love Hours Than Can Ever Be Repaid in 2022.
